Denis Villeneuve continues his streak of breathtaking science fiction (ARRIVAL, BLADE RUNNER 2049) with this immersive adaptation of Frank Herbert's "Dune," a herculean effort of world-building and awe-inspiring imagery. Paul (Timothée Chalamet) is the gifted heir to the throne of House Atreides, a noble family who have control of Arrakis, a planet rich with spice, a drug that has the power to unlock superhuman abilities. But intergalactic forces conspire to take control of the territory.
