Rémi and Léo, two 13-year-old boys, are inseparable friends, spending their summer days and nights together working on Rémi's family's farm, playing in the woods and sleeping over at each other's houses. But once the school year begins, other children notice how physically attached the two seem to be, and uncomfortable questions get asked. Léo reacts by withdrawing from Rémi, joining the ice hockey team and spending time with other friends. Rémi is confused, hurt and ultimately angry. This sensitive and moving drama from Lukas Dhont (GIRL) features outstanding performances from newcomers Gustav De Waele and Eden Dambrine as Rémi and Léo, with Émilie Dequenne and Léa Drucker as their respective mothers.
