MUPPET TREASURE ISLAND

Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic swashbuckling adventure receives a rollicking retelling courtesy of the Muppets. Jim Hawkins (Kevin Bishop) is a scrappy young orphan who gets his hands on a treasure map, taking his best friends Rizzo and Gonzo along for an epic journey to find the booty. They join the crew of a ship captained by Captain Abraham Smollett (Kermit the Frog) and meet the shady Long John Silver (Tim Curry), setting off a fight to see who can reach the treasure first. The ace comedic cast includes Billy Connolly, Jennifer Saunders and, of course, Miss Piggy as Benjamina Gunn, the former lover of Captain Smollett. DIR/PROD Brian Henson; SCR Jerry Juhl, Kirk R.
