LADY EVE, THE Watch Trailer

LADY EVE, THE

"I need him like the axe needs the turkey." In Preston Sturges' masterpiece of amour fou, boyish herpetologist and brewery heir Charles Pike (Henry Fonda) seems like an easy mark for con artists "Colonel" Harrington (Charles Coburn) and his beautiful daughter Jean (Barbara Stanwyck). But Jean wasn't supposed to fall in love with Charles after fleecing him. Now spurned by the burned Charles, Jean takes on the persona of "Lady Eve Sidwich" to win his heart again.
