GROUNDHOG DAY
"Well, what if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today." Sent to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to cover the annual Groundhog Day festivities, WPBH-TV9 meteorologist Bill Murray suffers through the boring assignment, alongside his overly cheery producer, Andie MacDowell, and smart-aleck cameraman Chris Elliott, only to get stuck in the small town overnight by a freak blizzard he failed to predict. But when he wakes up the next morning, it's February 2 all over again. And again, and again, as Murray finds he's stuck in a bizarre time loop. Facing the hell of reliving the same day over and over again, Murray embraces his circumstances and learns to live each day to the fullest. "The best American comedy since TOOTSIE." –Hal Hinson, Washington Post. DIR/SCR/PROD Harold Ramis; SCR Danny Rubin; PROD Trevor Albert. US, 1993, color, 101 min, DCP. RATED PG
