MAN WITH THE ANSWERS, THE
Cypriot director Stelios Kammitsis' latest is both a warmhearted, sunny road trip through Europe and a tender queer romance. After the death of his grandmother, enigmatic ex-diving champion Victor (Vasilis Magouliotis) decides to leave his home on the Greek coast and drive to visit his estranged mother in Germany. The first leg of his journey is a ferry to Italy, where he meets Matthias (Anton Weil), an uninhibited German student who talks his way into tagging along for the ride. Ever the odd couple, they don't see eye to eye on much as they make their way north. But as Victor lets his guard down and opens his heart, they forge a lasting connection.
