Europe, 1938. Hitler's Germany is on the brink of invading Czechoslovakia. Hugh Legat (George MacKay, 1917) is a young civil servant working under British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain (Jeremy Irons), who's anxious to avoid the dogs of war at any cost.
