In this deeply personal documentary, director Marcela Zamora (ROOM OF BONES) interviews her own father, Rubén Zamora, a key political leader and current Salvadorian Ambassador to the UN, who was captured and tortured by the National Police during the country's brutal civil war (1979–1992). Looking back to ask the questions she was afraid to ask as a child, Zamora also confronts military leaders, and even a man responsible for acts of torture, in an effort to bridge the generational gap and bring the truth out into the open.
