[LE DÉCLIN DE L'EMPIRE AMÉRICAIN]
When University of Montreal academic Rémy (Rémy Girard, THE BARBARIAN INVASIONS, INCENDIES) and his wife (Dorothée Berryman, THE BARBARIAN INVASIONS) gather with friends at a country retreat, conversational topics quickly turn to sex. While the male contingent prepares dinner, trading stories of sexual escapades and infidelity, their female counterparts tell their own tales at a nearby gym. Far from the constraints of lofty academic life, nothing is taboo. But, as the men and women gather over dinner, what started as a titillating discussion among friends reveals shocking and hurtful secrets. Best Foreign Language Film Oscar® nominee.
