He annually produces, programs and hosts Noir City: The San Francisco Film Noir Festival at San Francisco's Castro Theatre and affiliated festivals around the U.S. Since 2013, he has been an on-air host for TCM, most recently introducing the "Summer of Darkness" series of classic films noir.
