When her husband goes out for cigarettes and never comes back, fortysomething Elvira (Cecilia Suárez) is sent into a spiral of despair. Intent on finding him, she begins her own amateur investigation, unsure of what she might find out. Suárez gives a dynamite performance as a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown in filmmaker Manolo Caro’s zany Almodóvar-esque tale.
