Q&A with co-writer Juan Cristobal Rios Violand

NARROW NORTH [Norte Estrecho]

In the suburbs of Washington, DC, Bolivian immigrant Jorge (Luis Bredow, EVEN THE RAIN) is the owner of a successful video-conferencing center where immigrants can stay connected to the loved ones they left behind. An Argentine couple arranges romantic virtual dates; a Bolivian man tries to be a good father for his young daughter; and a Mexican woman puts on a brave face for the son she is putting through college. But when Jorge is arrested for driving without a license, he must deal with the authorities, putting his fellow immigrants' lifelines on hold.
