SILVER

Vicenta is a Cuban clairvoyant whose services are in high demand, putting her neighbors at ease about the future. Her harmonious life is ripped apart when her only son leaves the island in search of work. Alone, and with her foresight blinded, Vicenta spirals into an existential crisis — and the only remedy is to voyage deep into the heart of a country where everyone seems to have lost their faith. The third film by director Carlos Lechuga (SANTA & ANDRÉS) is a radically political metaphor for the ennui suffered by Cubans living in a country decaying 70 years after the Revolution.
