40th Anniversary

Plowing time has come to Farmer Fitzgibbons' farm, and widowed mouse Mrs. Brisby must relocate her family out of the dangerous field. With an ailing son and a cinder block house too heavy for her to move alone, she turns to a local colony of highly intelligent rats who have escaped from the nearby science lab (Bethesda's own National Institute of Mental Health) and learned to harness the power of electricity. Featuring the voice work of Elizabeth Hartman, Dom DeLuise, Peter Strauss, Derek Jacobi, Wil Wheaton and John Carradine. DIR/SCR/PROD Don Bluth; SCR/PROD John Pomeroy, Gary Goldman; SCR Will Finn, from the book "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" by Robert C. O'Brien. U.S., 1982, color, 82 min. RATED G
