Sixty-year-old Josef (Czech actor and filmmaker Miroslav Krobot, IN THE SHADOW, THE MAN FROM LONDON, SPOOR) is a self-centered writer who thinks life is no longer capable of surprising him. But life always finds a way. His much younger girlfriend gets pregnant. His best friend tries to commit suicide. And to make matters worse, he's starting to see the man with hare ears — his literary alter ego — and he's been gifted (or cursed) with the ability to hear other people's thoughts. Now, for the first time, he's forced to look inward on a journey of self-discovery. Filmmaker Martin Šulík (GYPSY, THE INTERPRETER) won Best Director at the 2020 Warsaw Film Festival for this flight-of-fancy-filled crowd-pleaser.
