In this taut and timely nautical thriller, a German doctor (Susanne Wolff) encounters a wrecked trawler filled with refugees while on a solo sailing trip to Ascension Island. Alone, save for an SSB radio, she is given conflicting information by the coast guard and quickly becomes torn between maritime law and her own moral compass. As the stakes continue to rise, she is forced to reckon with the limits of her compassion.
