An aged Zero Moustafa (F. Murray Abraham) recounts the glory days of the now-faded Grand Budapest Hotel, and his tutelage under the legendary concierge Monsieur Gustave H. (Ralph Fiennes) during the Interwar Years. Starting out as a lobby boy, Zero (Tony Revolori) learns the art of servicing the luxury hotel's guests, becoming embroiled in a hair-raising adventure involving a murdered noblewoman and a contested will, amid the rising tide of fascism in the Mitteleuropean Republic of Zubrowka.
